About the Job

Reputable and growing commercial General Contractor seeks to hire an experienced Construction Superintendent with commercial experience to include interior build-out and remodel for retail stores and restaurants. You will be responsible for supervising the field construction of multiple tenant build-out projects ensuring work is on schedule and within budget while maintaining quality workmanship. We're looking for someone who is highly motivated, has the ability to grow within the position and the Company, high energy level, and possessing a 'can-do' attitude! Jobsites are in the Atlanta metro area, therefore, no travel or overnight stays! Requires clean driving record (MVR) and ability to pass a drug screening.



QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS NEEDED...

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Strong knowledge of sequencing and work flow of construction activities for all trades.

Provide leadership and to establish and maintain effective and harmonious working relationships of the on-site staff and to promote a positive project morale.

Have a thorough and complete knowledge and understanding of the General Contact, each Subcontract, the contract drawings, specifications and addenda, and to assist the Project Management in the development of the on-site procedures.

Examine the contract drawings, specifications and addenda for design deficiencies, impractical details and possible code violations, and to bring these to the attention of the Project Management who will review them with the Architect.

Work with the Project Management to keep the schedules properly updated, and to see that the job meets the various required dates.

Plan and review the Construction Program with the Project Management including quality control procedures, safety and security practices, jobsite logistics and layout, temporary utilities, staging areas, equipment and manpower.

Coordinate, direct, monitor and inspect the activities of the subcontractors and suppliers as well as for the Company's labor and materials.

Verify that each subcontractor has completed his contractual requirements.

Ensure that all required permits or licenses have been obtained.

Cooperate with and direct when necessary the activities of the inspection agencies, and to effect remedial actions indicated by the reports of these agencies.

Receive and review the subcontractors Daily Reports of work done and labor and material employed.

Review and approve all time and material work vouchers and invoices.

Maintain good relations and communications with all involved in the project including the client and public.

Coordinate timely delivery of materials to jobsite.

Manage all labor crews and self-performed work.

Ensure that client satisfaction is paramount.

Must have effective oral and written communication skills.



Any experience with UDA Construction Suite, PlanSwift or GradeBeam software's most helpful.



Company offers a salary in the $60,000 - $65,000 range plus company vehicle and benefits.
