Approaching 20 years in business this reputable real estate and real estate-related investment manager seeks to hire an experienced Disposition/Land Development Associate to work in their Midtown offices.  

Duties / Responsibilities...

Work closely with senior executives to develop, execute and manage the asset management and disposition strategy.
Lead the disposition of real estate assets.  Activities include analyzing letters of intent from prospective buyers, creating cash flow models, formulating recommendations to partners and coordinating closing transactions.
Document closing transactions and generate reports for partners.
Manage fee build deals with builders and lenders, which includes processing and approving draw requests as well as monitoring revenue and expense requirements.
Collaborate with senior management to evaluate capital improvement projects, deferred maintenance, and  new sources of revenue.
Provide primary support with quarterly reforecasting and valuation projections.
Assist asset management team in the coordination and supervision of 3rd party property management activities.  Areas of coordination include budgeting, contract administration, payment authorization, property maintenance, taxes and insurance.
Understand Excel Financial Modeling.
Research zoning ordinances, construction regulations and environmental restrictions when considering property.
Make projections that assess potential profitability based on population growth, traffic patterns, local taxes and other factors.
Negotiate the purchase of land and manage the work of architects, construction companies and property managers.
Apply to localities to rezone land, perform impact analyses and receive building construction permits.
Perform, or request that the locality perform, environmental and safety reviews.

Qualifications...
