A leading international commercial real estate firm seeks to hire an experienced Marketing/Communications Associate responsible for development, creation and production of content in support of their South Florida team working in their Miami office. Position requires knowledge of multi-faceted marketing concepts, media and software to perform proposal writing and creation of presentations, managing Request for Proposal (RFP) responses and development of other marketing pieces. Must be flexible, creative, work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines and schedules, be detail-oriented, have superior communication and organizational skills. Must be enthusiastic about becoming an expert on how to uniquely communicate the company's vision through written and visual mediums. The position supports the company's Southeast Marketing Group.



Qualified candidate will possess strong writing skills (this is a huge priority) as you will serve as the traffic cop in preparing, formatting, and readying materials to go to the graphic designer. We're looking for someone with a good personality who takes ownership of their work and responsibility for their mistakes. Things tend to move quickly in this fast-paced office and the brokers (for whom you'll be providing materials) are a great group to work with. The hard worker will find excellent growth potential in this job with various avenues to take whether it's Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Manager or other opportunities within the department. Strong project management skills needed and the ability to work with lots of autonomy reporting to the Regional Marketing Director for the Southeast Region.



REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or related field

Prior commercial real estate experience in a marketing and communications role, 6 year minimum

Basic understanding of real estate markets and dedication to learning local markets and businesses

Expertise in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint

Basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign

Desire and ability to learn management of company CRM (which is their contact database, but more the constant contact for sending out eblasts.

Must possess leadership qualities and work well in a team environment

Excellent interpersonal skills - effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to manage large workloads and accomplish multiple tasks, meeting various deadlines

Ability to change course/direction on projects at a moment's notice; ability to reprioritize tasks and timelines

Strong attention to detail - excellent writing, research, proofreading and editing skills

Ability to think strategically and proactively

Ability to maintain discretion regarding personnel and industry-related matters

Ability to effectively and professionally meet client expectations and positively represent the firm

Strong customer service orientation



JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

Responsible for the comprehensive preparation of proposal, presentation and communication materials (strong/professional writing skills required)

Coordinate the distribution of internal and external marketing information

Research and create a wide variety of content for marketing materials for in-house and client presentations

Review internal and external collateral materials, proofread content, ensure appropriate and consistent branding and approve materials for final distribution

Independently create new business development presentations and proposals based on project objectives

Assist in the coordination and implementation of broad marketing strategies and perform detailed research and analysis to support those strategies

Maintain and update marketing library of standard company proposals, presentations, case studies and other collateral materials

Write case studies, letters, communications, professional profiles, executive summaries and tenant andmarket overviews

Recommend and implement strategies to achieve marketing goals in support of agency leasing, investment sales, tenant advisory and property/construction management teams

Oversee social media vehicles and ensure incorporation of National social media initiatives

Seek out press opportunities and draft press releases for distribution to trades

Maintain regional press release distribution/media lists

Additional duties as assigned
