Job Description

Founded 50+ years ago this Company has steadily grown to become one of the top construction providers in the nation. Company is financially sound with a significant bonding capacity as well as vast personnel and equipment resources. We're looking for candidates with experience in hospitality/hotel (heavy finishes), office, multi-family high-rise (note wood frame) all with heavy structure experience with both concrete and steel frame. In addition to the need for Project Engineers, Company is also actively seeking to hire Superintendents ($90-$120K), Assistant Project Managers ($55 - $65K), Project Managers ($75K - $120K), and Jr. Estimator or Mid-level Estimator ($45K - $85K). All positions report to the Atlanta Division which operates throughout the Southeast, and in the execution of your duties you may be subject to travel to various project locations, again, throughout the Southeast.





Company is currently seeking to hire Project Engineers with ground-up experience to join their Atlanta team. Now hiring recent grads to those with 3 - 5 years of experience. OSHA 30 training and first aid highly desired.





SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:


Coordinates work of various contracts as assigned, tracks documentation and evaluates contract issues such as pay applications, changes, punch-lists and closeout activities.


Supports in coordinating and managing the efforts of the contractors/consultants.


Assists in the evaluation of progress and quality of contract activities in conformance with approved schedules and budgets.


Reviews progress payments.


Reviews bid package documents as issued by design consultants for omissions, clarifications required, and for coordination between design disciplines.


Expedites resolution of Project problems.


Obtains Daily Reports from Inspectors/Contractors.


Maintains change management control logs, submittals and RFI logs.


Prepares documents, letters, report meeting minutes as required by Project Manager.


Participates in negotiations, preparation of and review all Change Orders.


Monitors project close-out and client occupancy.


Performs work in a safe manner and actively encourage others to comply with safety rules and regulations, including wearing of personal protective devices.





Company offers a salary in the $45 - $55,000 range plus excellent benefits. Salary ranges vary by position, responsibility, actual knowledge and ability to perform within each position. Bonuses are based upon job profit - there is a company plan with percentages defined. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vacation, Sick Leave, etc.
