PROPERTY ACCOUNTANT

About the Job

Well known, reputable, and national multi-family housing company seeks to hire a Property Accountant for their Duluth location. Excellent work environment!

With minimum 3-4 years Staff Accountant level experience you will support properties with all necessary resident ledger adjustments, expense accruals, expense reports and resident refund requests while also preparing all necessary month-end journal entries for properties. Additionally you will also reconcile assigned general ledger accounts and prepare monthly financial reports for each property assigned.

Skills and qualifications needed:

Strong (Intermediate) Excel Skills
OneSite, MRI and/or Yardi business system (preferred but not required)
General Ledger account reconciliations
Bank account reconciliations
Good verbal and written communication skills
Organizational and time management skills

Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field preferred but will accept education and experience combo in lieu of.


Company offers a salary to $55,000 plus excellent benefits including medical, dental, vision, basic life/accidental death & dismemberment, voluntary life insurance, long-term disability, 401(k), paid vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays.
