Required Skills: Skills and Qualifications... Basic Word and Excel Strong ability to multi-task Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Construction Industry
Preferred Skills: Working knowledge of Construction Accounting Software (Sage/Timberline a plus) Familiarity with Georgia lien laws a plus
Education: Degree preferred but not required
Salary: Around $40,000 plus excellent benefits.

Commercial general contractor located off Clairmont seeks to hire a Project Accountant that will primarily be responsible for all Subcontracts Payable functions for the company.

Responsibilities...

Compile weekly cash projections
Verify sub-subcontractor balances
Review lien waivers
Request and issue joint checks as needed
Verify and enter Subcontractor Pay Applications
Enter subcontracts and complete new company set-up
Various other reports as needed by Project Managers and Accounting Manager
Basic office administrative duties including filing and occasional receptionist duties

Skills and Qualifications...

Basic Word and Excel
Strong ability to multi-task
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the Construction Industry
Familiarity with Georgia lien laws a plus
Working knowledge of Construction Accounting Software (Sage/Timberline a plus)
