Salary: To $70,000 with historical bonus of 15-20% plus excellent benefits.

Privately-held multi-faceted real estate investment firm focused on development and acquisition of office and industrial assets seek to hire a Development Accountant with 2-5 years experience in construction accounting to support its growing investment platform in their Atlanta (Buckhead) corporate office. Join this energetic and progressive entrepreneurial group with IMPRESSIVE work ethic, so ideally we're looking for someone who fits this particular mold. You will be responsible for supporting the accounting functions for development projects under construction.

RESPONSIBILITIES...

Account for projects under construction
Record construction invoices into job cost system
Experience using Yardi Job Cost a MUST and Yardi PAY scan preferred
Reconcile balance sheet with Draw request
Prepare/review financial statements and variance analysis
Process AP and prepare 1099s
Review cash flow reporting
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Provide audit assistance
Maintain policies and procedures for the department, making improvements as needed
Assist with federal and state income tax payments
Proficient in the Microsoft Office

QUALIFICATIONS...

Bachelor's degree in accounting
2+ years' previous experience in real estate, specifically in development project accounting - someone with experience doing accounting for construction/development projects.
