Salary: Salary range is $60 - $80,000 depending on skills and experience.

Commercial construction company located in the Cumberland/Galleria area seeks to hire a Construction Estimator with 3+ years experience for projects including construction and renovation services for the commercial office, education, healthcare, retail/restaurant and specialty markets.

Responsibilities...

Create and submit bid packages for projects in commercial office, education, healthcare, retail/restaurant and specialty markets
Draft project schedules
Network and build relationships with subcontractors, architects, owner's representatives, and members of property management
Provide value-engineering solutions to clients when pricing comes in over budget
Perform quantity takeoffs to verify accuracy of subcontractor bids
Draft RFIs for client responses
Coordinate and attend pre-bid meetings
Interact and negotiate with subcontractors for pricing advantages
Correspond with clients to follow up on the status of bid packages that have been submitted
Qualified candidates will possess prior commercial construction estimating experience and skills. Familiarity with Sage preferred and Building Connect is a plus.
