Reputable Commercial General Contractor located in the Galleria area and providing construction and renovation services seeks to hire a Senior Project Manager or Project Manager with "local" healthcare experience to work with their project management team on interior construction projects, specialty interior projects, and specialty ground-up construction projects. If you have a reputation for delivering quality value and within budget while meeting deadlines, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for! While your focus will be on healthcare, this reputable organization also handles higher education, commercial office, and specialty restaurant/retail. Our client is hoping for a QUICK HIRE!

RESPONSIBILITIES...

Project management experience in "healthcare" projects
Proficiency in all construction project management responsibilities and functions
Ability to lead, direct, and train Assistant PM's
Ability to analyze, manage and mitigate risks
Preparation of Financial Forecasts
Preparation of Schedules
Ensure adherence to Schedules
Manage Request for Information (RFI) process
Manage Submittal process
Prepare Job Meeting agendas
Approve Pay Applications/Invoices from Subcontractors
Review Pay Applications to Owners
Review drawing changes to determine impact on schedule and/or job cost
Approve Owner and Subcontractor Change Requests and Change Orders
Provide prompt responses to all team members
Maintain quality control throughout projects
Determine timing of Punch List walk-throughs
Negotiate Subcontractor buyout opportunities
Bid new projects as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS...

Prior healthcare project management experience required
Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications
Cost projections and budgeting
Effectively communicate with clients, management and subcontractors
Detail-oriented
Sound judgment
Strong work ethic and goal-oriented
Proficiency in the use of MS Office and MS Project, Timberline Project Management, Timberline Estimating, and Pro Core
