Required Skills: • Bachelor's degree (Real Estate, Business, Finance or Accounting preferred) • 10 years minimum of progressive servicing/asset management experience • Demonstrated Portfolio Management experience • Demonstrated knowledge of Servicing Agreements and real estate lending documents • Proficient with Strategy Loan Servicing System • Proficient with MS Word and Excel • Strong analytical skills

You must be able to clearly convey issues and provide problem solving • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to accurately interpret Servicing Agreement, loan agreements and investor guidelines • Excellent people skills with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with external client and internal support staff • Understanding of commercial real estate transactions and industry terms • Attention to detail with a focus on efficiency and accuracy; well organized • Effectively manage competing priorities while meeting deadlines

Salary: To $70K plus 12.5% bonus and excellent benefits

We are seeking to hire a customer service driven Associate Portfolio Manager with experience in Commercial Real Estate Loan Portfolio Management work. This role is a client-facing position involving the overall management of multiple Servicing Agreement contracts. You will interface with all required departments to maintain compliance of the defined scope of work in each contract and will act as Co-Relationship Manager to the Clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES...

Develop a strong understanding of the Scope of Work for each Client Servicing Agreement assigned
Monitor assigned portfolios to ensure compliance with Servicing Agreement Scope of Work
Interface with clients at set periodic dates, keeping up-to-date with any outstanding issues and obtain new pipeline information from client on monthly basis
Update Team Leader with pipeline and resolved loan data for Sales Force maintenance and reporting to Sr Management
Meet Client Reporting requirements outlined in Scope of Work
Review for accuracy and approve Client Servicing Fee billings
Coordinate with clients with servicing Fee Account Receivables become delinquent to collect fees in a timely manner
Control client requests that are out of the scope of work in the Servicing Agreement
Coordinate with Client Services Team to prepare fee proposals for scope requests from client and monitor that the Servicing Agreement amendments are completed by Corporate Counsel and executed by all parties if scope is expanded
Oversight portfolio compliance of loan terms managed by Servicing, Tax, Insurance and Compliance staff members
Review and approved loan payoff quotes prepared by Loan Servicing
Coordinate the setup of Deposit and Collection accounts required under the loan terms
Administer and direct cash management of property operations in accordance with waterfalls as outlined in loan documents
Review and approve vouchers and cash waterfall sweeps relating to assigned portfolios and provide backup reviews for teammates
Coordinate with Corporate Counsel when new Servicing Agreements are under negotiation, participate in draft reviews, providing recommendations for amendments that meet the desired Client Scope of Work
Set up new Investors when additional assignments are received and ensure smooth transition for new client
Ensure newly transferred loan portfolios or new individual loans are set up properly by the various departments
Formulate sound solutions, develop streamlined processed, and present recommendations to Team Leader for improvements
Participate in team projects when necessary
Participate in Client Revenue reforecasting exercises quarterly with Team Leader
Assist with the management of support staff
Assist Team Leader as needed

PROCESS MANAGEMENT DUTIES...

Coordinate work with multiple parties (Clients, Legal, Asset Management Operations, Servicing, Treasury, Accounting)
Prioritize multiple transactions simultaneously across multi-day and multi-step processes
Manage various levels of transactional complexity
Operate as an integrated member of the client's team and internal team
Maintain sound client and related parties contacts and prompt response environment

REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE...

Bachelor's degree (Real Estate, Business, Finance or Accounting preferred)
10 years minimum of progressive servicing/asset management experience
Demonstrated Portfolio Management experience
Demonstrated knowledge of Servicing Agreements and real estate lending documents
Proficient with Strategy Loan Servicing System
Proficient with MS Word and Excel
Strong analytical skills

Company offers a salary to $70K DOE plus 12.5% target bonus and excellent benefits.
