Location: Currently working remotely from home but will transition into Buckhead office at some point in the coming days.
Required Skills: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution OR an equivalent of business work experience Minimum of 2 years related experience in commercial real estate, and knowledge of various property types and tax processing and monitoring Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Windows and Outlook Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Working knowledge of real estate lending terms Requires the ability to manage the workflow of their desk and manage multiple tasks with limited supervision Requires the ability to withstand interruptions to workflow while meeting Company deadlines Detail-oriented Must be able to work with and communicate across all functional lines of the Company's organization

2-3 MONTH ASSIGNMENT AND CURRENT WORKING REMOTELY - POSSIBILITY YOU COULD BE ASKED TO TRANSITION INTO THEIR BUCKHEAD OFFICE AT SOME POINT.

Commercial real estate services firm providing asset management, loan servicing, due diligence and customized advisory solutions to commercial real estate lenders and investors for 25+ years seeks to hire a Tax Escrow Analyst for a 2-3 contract assignment and working with their Operational Services Team. Ideal candidate will track and monitor the status of real estate taxes ensuring taxes are paid in a timely manner, preparing escrow analysis, quarterly securitization reports, as well as any ad hoc reporting related to real estate taxes.

Responsibilities...

Loads initial tax records into the servicing system
Reviews the documents and gathers all necessary information in order to monitor the status of real estate taxes and ensures timely payments
Provides legal descriptions to tax service provider and utilizes their services to obtain information on escrowed loans
Prepares vouchers and posts all disbursements for payment of taxes
Works with Asset Manager when there is a shortfall in escrow to pay taxes
Prepares correspondence relating to tax payments
Calculates monthly tax payments from information received
Performs escrow analysis at least once annually
Follow up for proof of non-escrow tax payments made
Complete quarterly reports for tax information on securitized loans
Provide updated comments monthly for Critical Date Meetings

Qualifications...
