Reputable and well-established commercial real estate services firm providing asset management, loan servicing, due diligence and customized advisory solutions to commercial real estate lenders and investors for 25+ years seeks to hire an Associate Director, Credit & Asset Management.

Qualified candidate will possess experience in commercial real estate transactional work to join company's Credit & Asset Management team of Asset Managers and Financial Analysts who work hand-in-hand to provide best-in-class service to their clients. This role is a client-facing position involving real-time assessment of risk profiles of real estate loans in the assigned portfolio, financial modeling, handling construction draw administration, monitoring and prompting borrower compliance with covenants, monitoring of interest billing and collection, and client reporting.

Responsibilities...

Manage and mentor a team of financial analysts and associates and participate in their performance evaluations with the Team Lead
Review and reconcile draw requests for funding of construction, leasing, and capital costs
Critique/track operating and construction budgets
Review and understand complex loan documents and implement loan terms
Analyze property level financial statements including operating statements, balance sheets, and rent rolls
Prepare and update monthly asset reports and quarterly reporting packages, including investment performance analysis
Assess performance of assets relative to original underwriting or business plans, competitors, and market conditions
Review and analyze lease proposals and prepare recommendation memos for client
Interact with third party consultants including title agents, brokers and sales agents, and construction consultants
Interact with property managers, leasing agents, borrowers and client representatives
Utilizing technology to track property, borrower and performance data
Coordinate asset servicing and reporting responsibilities with internal departments to ensure proper tracking and timely and accurate reporting

Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree
5-7 years of relevant Financial Analysis experience
Understanding of commercial real estate transactions and industry terms
Solid analytical skills with some negotiating experience
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to explain complex concepts
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, including ability to build complex Excel worksheets
Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Argus
Team player
