Required Skills: Ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Excel; ability to work well with others in a team environment as well as working independently; and ability to multitask and prioritize. Any managerial experience helpful but not required. Familiarity with Photoshop, InDesign, and PowerPoint and experience with ARGUS a real plus.

Well established full service commercial real estate brokerage firm with approximately 50 employees seeks to hire a Director of Research working in their downtown office, Monday - Friday, 8 am - 5 pm. Company specializes in tenant representation, leasing and sales. While real estate research experience is preferred, we're not opposed to graduates just starting their career, so long as you have a vested interest in real estate/finance. My client is willing to train an analytically-oriented individual possessing minimal experience with a bachelor's in economics, real estate, or related field. Excellent door-opening opportunity for someone wanting to get into commercial real estate to broaden their skills and knowledge.

You will be responsible for collecting quarterly market data, tracking absorption, rental rates, and other tends in the metro Atlanta office market. This role provides support to management, brokers, and administrative staff with a wide range of real estate research and due diligence assignments. Duties include entering data into proprietary database, ensuring data integrity, and production of comprehensive analysis of a variety of industry standard publications and reports.

Responsibilities...

Perform comprehensive market research, producing due diligence material and financial analysis for all types of commercial real estate properties
Conduct property search surveys for agents for leasing and sale assignments
Utilize company resources and public records to produce material and research for due diligence on deals
Produce and edit maps, aerials, pictures, and reports for marketing packages and flyers
Create statistical research reports and narrative analyses as needed
Product quarterly office market reports using data and narrative analysis
Oversee Company research subscriptions and assist in new licenses, training, etc. for certain real estate related products (CoStar, Courthouse Retrieval System, GIS, ESRI, and BusinessWise)

Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator and InDesign a plus
