Required Skills: REQUIREMENTS... Bachelor degree (Architecture, Business, Interior Design, Engineering or Construction preferred) PMP and/or LEED AP preferred 7+ years project management experience in all aspects of Design, Construction, Project Management Must have experience/skills in construction Project Management (architecture, general contracting, construction estimation, scheduling, engineering, design/permitting process, bid development, contract and/or sub-contract management Computer proficiency, including knowledge in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project Highly organized Strong analytical skills Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level external and internal clients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to multi-task and work both in a team and independently Ability to successfully communicate with architects, contractors, client's representatives, and team members
Preferred Skills: PMP and/or LEEP AP preferred, but not required.

Salary: Salary in the $135,000 range plus 10% bonus and excellent benefit

The Director, Construction Management is responsible for leadership, operations, profitability, revenue growth and business development of the construction/development division for this large and reputable award-winning commercial real estate firm.

This position will be responsible for leading a team to evaluate prospective sites, oversee pre-construction, and represent the organization throughout the construction phase. Additionally, responsible for providing management of due diligence, programming, design, entitlements, bidding, permitting, procurement, design team selection, schedule creation/management, contractor selection, vendor selection, sustainability and post construction services.

RESPONSIBILITIES...

Develop and maintain the Master Project Schedule
Establish and maintain project goals and success criteria that meets the client needs
Guide the client/team through the design implementation process including conceptual, schematic, design development, construction documentation, and signoff
Oversee a team to manage all project documentation including contracts, budgets, and schedules as well as ensure compliance with contract and client expectations
Contribute to the growth of the company through project execution and new opportunity identification
Support all teams and user/tenant/owner/investor relationships for the opportunity to market this service
Provide development consultation and assistance in finding new business opportunities
Prepare various RFP's needed for vendor and contractor services for the complete project
Follow procedures for distribution, receipt, opening, leveling and award of project bids
Meet assigned financial targets
Marketing functions including presentations, RFQ responses, and other duties as assigned
Additional tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS...
