Property Accounting Assistant

Reputable and growing commercial real estate firm located in Duluth seeks to hire a Property Accounting Assistant to play a vital role in the efficient operation of the Property Accounting department supporting the day-to-day administrative activities of the department. Excellent company with an awesome corporate culture and a very supportive work environment. After 90 days, they’ll allow you to work from home one day per week and Friday’s are casual with quitting time at 3:30 pm. Position reports directly to the Director of Property Accounting.

RESPONSIBILITIES…

Provide administrative support to the property accounting group
Prepare and make bank deposits
Scan checks to the accounts receivable system and research check issues
Prepare written correspondence with vendors and tenants
Prepare and maintain various reports in Excel
Vendor set-up and accounts payable research
Assist in processing accounts receivable
Process payments in Avid Xchange, MRI and Yardi accounting software
Maintain scanning and filing for the property accounting team
Perform other duties as required to support the group

QUALIFICATIONS…

Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
Familiarity in working in various accounting software’s a plus
