Outstanding ground floor opportunity to work with the premier industrial real estate investment and development firm in Atlanta that is actively growing and pursuing new projects seeking to hire an experienced Development & Construction Manager, preferably with an industrial construction background. Ideal candidate has worked at a larger scale General Contractor (such as Choate, Brasfield & Gorrie, Conlan, Skanska, Winter, etc) for a substantial amount of time and looking for something more entrepreneurial and to have a direct hand in the projects you'll be working on, rather than providing a service. Seasoned individuals in the latter half of their careers are encouraged to apply. Position reports directly to the owner and you won't find a better boss, guaranteed!

RESPONSIBILITIES...

Manage the entire construction process from inception to delivery on new projects
Contribute to and lead the design and engineering process
Lead the permitting and approval process at inception and delivery, respectively
Manage small scale renovation projects directly, at times without a general contractor
Interact with Lender Construction Management teams to process loan draws
Incorporate inspectors, geotechnical engineers, etc throughout construction
Stay on top of construction trends and pricing movements
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget

REQUIREMENTS...

Minimum 5 years professional experience
Familiarity with Engineering, Architectural and Construction Plans
High school education - college education a real plus
