Reputable and growing Midtown Atlanta-based general contracting firm seeks to hire an experienced Controller. Company specializes in aviation, institutional, interior, K-12, higher education, and healthcare general contracting and construction management.

Reporting to the President you will be responsible for...

Set up jobs and making sure to close-out quarter ensuring efficiency and accuracy
Daily cash receipts
Invoice entry
Job costing reconciliation
Meet with President monthly to discuss financial condition of office/review quarterly
Budget/forecasting with President and ensuring accuracy and completion
Enter General Ledger adjusting journal entries
Process weekly check runs
Perform month-end/quarter-end/year-end close
Implement policies and procedures needed for project accountants as well as operations department to efficiently process job costing responsibilities from conception to close.
Provide training, guidance, and performance evaluations
Review job contracts ensuring accuracy and completion prior to job start
Run D&B reports for potential subcontractors to determine credit eligibility.
Work with external auditors providing audit-compliance documents required for annual audit.
Perform other managerial accounting duties as required.
Any experience with ProCore, Sage 100 Contracting or P6 a plus.

Company offers a salary to $120,000 plus nice benefits including 401(k) up to 4% matching, 100% of healthcare, dental, vision, life insurance, and 14 PTO days.
