Well-established and reputable ready mix concrete and concrete pumping service for residential, commercial, industrial, and government projects seeks to hire a Director of Team and Engagement reporting directly to the President. Position can be based in either Lawrenceville or Kennesaw depending on where you live.

The Director of Team Development and Engagement will build a culture of teamwork and customer service while being an advocate for delivering the Company experience. You will be responsible for ensuring the integration between recruitment, onboarding, and full immersion into the Company culture is a seamless process. The director will interface with the safety and legal departments as related to legal and compliance issues. The director will also be involved in shaping and promoting Company's health and benefits program.

RESPONSIBILITIES...

Developing and implementing a robust on-boarding process through an employee's first year of employment
Develop and administer an on-going leadership development program for new and existing managers to grow and strengthen their skills
Create and administer succession planning process, training managers and employees on the process
Measure and increase employee engagement
Promote existing company benefits as well as develop new benefit programs that enhance team well-being
Promote and communicate a positive "family" environment of trust and respect
Identify areas of concern where desired culture is not present and develop an action plan to commit to improvement
Attend out-of-state manager meetings once or twice a year

QUALIFICATIONS...

Bachelor's degree and 5+ years' experience in human resources or a comparable combination of education and experience
Experience of being a successful change agent and culture builder
Successful experience applying positive motivation and progressive discipline to maximize team performance
Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative, feedback-oriented management style
Ability to pass background screenings to include Criminal and MVR (driving)
