Employee-owned full-service commercial real estate company serving the SE seeks to hire a RE Broker / VP Leasing & Development responsible for adding company value through procuring profitable lease and development deals. We're looking for a Broker - a deal maker, a rainmaker, who is in it for the upside opportunities. You will identify and build relationships with major tenants and brokers as well as relentless market analysis. Must be self-motivated, driven, and well versed in business development. Company is focused on retail and hospitality properties operating in three divisions to include Management, Development, and Investment.
Qualified candidate will drive the development and execution of the required development and leasing strategies necessary to achieve annual and long-term company objectives; work with all team members to lead the development and implementation of overall development and leasing strategies, programs, and activities necessary to achieve annual and long-term objectives; maintain up-to-date market awareness to allow for maximization of value and returns; and develop and maintain strong working relationships with commercial real estate professionals and tenants.
Attend association and networking events
Foster relationships with tenants and brokerage communities
Manage relationships and facilitate leases with tenants for existing portfolio
Identify and facilitate potential development opportunities
Utilize online commercial tools
Maintain open communication with Leasing and Property Management ensuring proper workflow is maintained
Maintain and oversee Company real estate licensees in your respective licensed brokerage state
Minimum 10 years’ experience in commercial real estate leasing and development
Current Broker's License

Ideal candidate is based out of the South East
Roughly 30% travel. More if you have relationships and ability to do deals in neighboring states. Most active in FL, South GA, and SC, but some activities in AL & NC.
Company offers a base salary of $50,000 plus commissions and leasing fees. The leasing commissions are in-house properties, meaning you won't have to rustle up the business and this equates to $50 - 70K annually on top of your base. The real money is the business you can bring in with development deals which usually takes 18-24 months to payout once inked, but leasing fees should keep you in the $100 - $120K+ range.
