Location: Currently working remotely from home but will transition into Buckhead office at some point in the coming days.
Required Skills: Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 1-3 years commercial real estate finance or accounting work experience Proficiency in MS Excel Basic knowledge of loan documents Strong communication skills, both oral and written Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently and in a team environment Must be able to work with and communicate across all functional lines of the Company's organization

2-3 MONTH ASSIGNMENT AND CURRENT WORKING REMOTELY - POSSIBILITY YOU COULD BE ASKED TO TRANSITION INTO THEIR BUCKHEAD OFFICE AT SOME POINT.

Commercial real estate services firm providing asset management, loan servicing, due diligence and customized advisory solutions to commercial real estate lenders and investors for 25+ years seeks to hire a contract Remittance Analyst. Working with the Investor Remittance team you'll be preparing reports for investors detailing the asset level activity on their investments. You will work closely with the Treasury Reconciliation department utilizing company systems to complete and finalize reporting. The Investor Remittance Analyst will serve as a Client point of contact and will be required to provide excellent service both internally and externally.

Responsibilities...

Review and reconcile transactions in Client Reconciliation System database
Request/obtain/review supporting documentation for preparation of remittance reports
Review and reconcile with Treasury Reconciliation any variances between transactional data and actual bank cash in P&I application
Agree to overall remittance of cash to Client, Servicing Fees to Corporate Accounting, and line items with Treasury Reconciliation
Prepare remittance reports and documentation packages
Prepare participation remittance reporting as specified syndication and participation agreements
Research and respond to client inquiries
Assist with various ad hoc projects

Qualifications...

Bachelor's degree or equivalent of 1-3 years commercial real estate finance or accounting work experience
Proficiency in MS Excel
Basic knowledge of loan documents
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must be able to work with and communicate across all functional lines of the Company's organization
