Well-established and reputable commercial real estate company located off the Glenridge Connector seeks to hire a Marketing Specialist.  The current job holder is leaving after 9 years to start her own business and we're actively seeking a replacement.  We'd really like to find someone who is not too green, who has some experience working in a corporate environment designing brochures and proposals, and can manage the workflow.  You'll need to be motivated with the ability to show some amount of leadership as you will also be responsible for helping to direct the junior designer and for managing the department when the supervisor is unavailable.  

Daily responsibilities include project managing the creation of marketing materials, including brochures, proposals, email marketing, web content, research reports, capabilities, materials, etc.  This position is fast-paced and requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team requiring excellent organization, communications, and interpersonal skills.

Job Functions...

Accountable for the coordination, design, copy editing, and production of flyers, proposals, and presentations
Design and produce layouts and graphics customized for each project, including maps, aerials, plans, charts, and photo editing
Proofread and edit for format, grammar, style, punctuation, and spelling
Maintain company-wide consistency utilizing corporate guidelines, etc.
Responsible for prioritizing and ensuring required timelines are met
Assist in the planning and coordination of corporate events/activities
Research and copy write as needed on projects, sometimes utilizing CRE research database software (no previous experience required).  Write press releases and distribute them to media contacts and corporate channels
Maintain and update corporate social media channels
Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity
Identify continuous opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the team


Bachelor's preferred, 2+ years of marketing/coordination experience
Marketing and communications experience "within the Commercial Real Estate industry would be ideal," and interest is a must
High level of proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
Exceptional project management and organizational skills
Ability to interface and communicate with internal clients
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills
Ability to independently achieve successful outcomes on all executed activities with minimal supervision
Role is in a corporate environment requiring a professional appearance

Company offers a salary, ideally $70K DOE plus bonus potential and benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life AD&D, LTD, Health Savings Account (HSA), and Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
